Overview

SC6608 is a class D audio power amplifier integrated with 32-order digital volume control. It provides a performance comparable to class AB amplifier, and its efficiency is up to 90%.

SC6608 has excellent full bandwidth and low radiation performance, which reduces the difficulty of EMC design. SC6608 has anti-breaking control function. It can detect and suppress the output signal breaking caused by the excessive amplitude of input music and voice signal. It can also self-adaptively prevent the output top-cutting caused by the drop of power supply voltage in battery application, and protect the loudspeaker from overload damage. At the same time, the chip provides the normal mode of turning off the break-proof sound. SC6608 integrates filter-free digital modulation technology, which can directly drive the loudspeaker and minimize the distortion and noise of the pulse output signal. Few external components save system space and cost, and are ideal for portable applications. In addition, SC6608's built-in turn-off function minimizes standby current. It also integrates mute function, fade-in and fade-out effect, over-current protection of speaker output and on-chip over-temperature protection, and adopts lead-free TSSOP24 package.
